Hi All,
we use JSM of 2000 agents and currently there 100,000 tickets and most of them have attachments too.
The space consumed by this is more and it is becoming cumbersome to manage attachments.
What is the best way of managing attachments , expect deleting old issues.
Any insights provided will be helpful.
Thanks,
Vijay
Do you have the ability to migrate the attachments to a different disk with enough space ?
Depenging on your operating system;
If you're under Linux you could link a directory from a different disk with enough space to the attachments directory (after copying the contents of the attachment directory to the target)
If you're under windows, you can mount a new disk on the attachments directory,
Note that the mounting directory has to be empty, so it is advised to move its content elsewhere and moving it back in after the mount.
