Auto close Service desk cloud ticket if jira ops ticket resolved

I have setup jira cloud sd and jira ops, 

 

when jira ops - comment on a ticket can the sd ticket comment being updated as well?

 

also if jira ops linked ticket being resolved, can the jd sd ticket auto resolve as well?

If the two issue are linked then you can use automation to close/comment the JSD issue.

can you provide the steps? i cant find the automation for my jira ops project?

 

i do have automation for my jsd cloud ? or can i configure on jsd automation? if yes what the rule?

I have not done for OPS but have for JSW it should be the same.

  1. in JSD create the automation to close linked issue. Also add a comment action if you like.
  2. when you want to create a ops issue use Create linked issue
  3. when ops issue closes then the JSD issue will close.
