Automation Rule Error: Transition issue Destination status could not be resolved.

Hi Community,

I would like the customer email to transition the issue from status "Closed" or "Resolved" to "Open". Since the active workflow did not enable to add a new transition out from status "Closed", I had to create a new workflow and activate that for the project. Here are the transition properties:

As a next step I created an automation rule for the transition. The automation rule doesn't work. The error is following: Transition issue. Destination status could not be resolved. If using a smart-value ensure this resolves to a numeric status ID or untranslated name for issues (with current status):HPC-2953 (Resolved - 5). Below a print screen:

I can't figure out what this message really means or where the problem is. Can you please advise? Research in community didn't help me out.

I resolved it myself. I had to change the automation rules. I am not sure which of the changes made it work but I added the following:

Reporter is not Jira Automation

Compare 2 values checks if: {{comment.internal}} equals false
