Is it possible to create an automation rule that posts an announcement on the customer portal when a ticket status is changed to Escalated?
I created a rule that posts a message in Teams when a service ticket status is changed to Escalated. I would also like this action to automatically post an announcement on the customer portal such as "We are experiencing an issue with the product. We are investigating and will provide updates as soon as possible."

It's not possible with native JSM. You can try our app Feature Bundle for Jira Service Management which allows creating customized banners. Of course, it also includes a lot of other useful features, such as editing requests.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to generate an announcement in the portal automatically.
