Can I install the plug-in of Jira to Jira issue copy on my Jira Service Desk Instance

My Service Desk instance is installed on a stand-alone server, the Jira version is 7.13.1, the Jira Service Desk version is 3.16.1. 

Is there a version of Jira to Jira Issue Copy compatible to my Service Desk Instance? I tried to install version 6.0.0, 5.1.0, 5.0.4, however, all of them are not compatible.

Hi James,

I am afraid this is an unsupported plugin.  It was created by Atlassian Labs.  This is a title we give to personal projects of Atlassian developers.  These are not supported by Atlassian though.  I found the bitbucket repo for this project in https://bitbucket.org/atlassianlabs/jira-remote-copy-plugin

In it they suggest:

Raising bugs or feature requests

This plugin is not officially supported. If you would like to raise a bug or feature request, please comment on this issue: JRASERVER-62759. We will periodically re-evaluate the plugin's supported status.

I am not sure if there will be any further development into the 7.13.x line of Jira.  It is possible, but given the unsupported nature of this plugin, there is no guarantee this would happen.

While I don't expect the 6.0.0 version of the plugin to work here because Jira 8 is considerably different code, I am curious to see if perhaps the 5.1.0 version of this plugin still might work in your version.  I know that the plugin will likely report itself as incompatible in the UPM of Jira, but sometimes even these incompatible plugins can still provide some working functions in these versions.  Have you tried to use the 5.1.0 plugin in your version and try it out to see if this works?   Are the issue copy functions missing from the expected menus?   Or is the copy not working as expected?
