Can my cloud configuration be moved to server hosted

Hi,

I have beentestung and evaluating Jira SD in a cloud environment, however we will need to purchase server based due to out GDPR commitments with our clients on data storage.  In my evaluation I have done quite a bit of setting up and configuration in terms of Projects, Issues, fields etc.  Will  I need to start again once we go with the server hosting or is there a way to migrate the configuration I have done in the cloud version?

You can get a backup from the Cloud server and use it to create a new Server installation.  It will take everything though, and the import over-writes any data you might have put in the server install.

That's great, thank you.  I need to report back to IT on this, would you be able to tell me how we would go about this.  Do we have to make a request or can we do it ourselves?
