Hi
When an article is created via Jira Service Desk it deafults the location to the "how-to articles" page.
This is not convenient as more often than not the KB article needs to go through a drafting process.
Ideally we should be able to set the location of the KB article so that it is first created under the draft "folder". This folder has limited access so that customers can not see it via Jira Service Desk.
Once reviewed and ready for general consumption we can then move the article into the usual How-to articles section so that all users can see it.
Is this possible?
I can do it manually within Confluence however would like to take advantage of the "create article" feature in Jira Service desk.
Hello Paul,
Currently, when creating articles through Jira, we can only select Troubleshooting and How-To templates, it's not possible to add more options. We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability which I saw that you already added a comment, but I'll share here in case someone else is looking for the same option:
- https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-5381
Please, click on vote and watch in order to hear about updates on the development cycle.
Regards,
Angélica
