Hi. TL;DR - I've seen a similar question posted before where someone wanted to change the resolution of a bunch of already-resolved requests. The answer was: add "resolution" as a field, then change in bulk.
I've added the field, and I can go into each request and manually edit the resolution, but "resolution" doesn't show as a field when I try to do it in bulk (it isn't in the list of unavailable fields either).
Does anyone have any pointers?
For reference, the original thread was here
if you are trying to change the Jira default field "Resolution" where you set the value e.g. Done, Won't do, etc. then you don't want to add another field at all. I assume the issue you are dealing w/ is that you can't edit the field once the issue is in the done status.
there are threads out there discussing this and here is one that likely captures what you want - How-to-bulk-change-resolution-of-already-closed-issues
