Customer Data via REST API painful slow

Hi there,

we are syncing 136K customers from our CRM to Jira using REST API procedures. However it takes about 8 seconds for one customer to be synced. What would be possible steps to increase syncing speed?

We are working with Jira Service Desk on-premise, release 4.6.1 on a Jira 8.6.1 core with  PostgreSQL database.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks to all.
