Customized Voice Messages for JSM Notifications

I am looking for a detailed procedure (if one exists) to modify outgoing JSM voice notification calls.   I've seen some posts that say it's possible,  but no detailed steps to perform it.    Any tips appreciated.

And to clarify, I want to customize the voice call content,  not the how / when type of notifications.   I want to announce specific jira fields and not others.
