Error uploading banner image

Hi, I'm trying to customise our portal. This was working about half an hour ago then I tried to change the banner. Now I'm getting ERROR UPLOADING BANNER IMAGE for EVERY image i try, even one that was working a short while ago. What am i doing wrong?

I've tried with and without a logo. I've tried switching the banners. Now none of the banners I have available work and they're all within the limits I've seen on other queries.

I've seen several tickets indicating that this could be a bug.
