Field Validation Before Submission

I need a way to require users to validate certain fields before they are saved and submitted to the system. We had a team member add the wrong client as a watcher and the system just automatically saved it and emailed the user. We then had to remove the client, add the correct client, and email the client apologizing for the error.

I understand trying to stream line things but removing the traditional save button leaves a lot of room for error while working tickets.
