Fundamental asset management in JSD

Hi!

I'm new to JSD (cloud) and would like to set up some semi-simple asset management data structures.  I was able to to this in a trial of Jira, and I've read the eBook that says asset management is doable, I think, for JSD (cloud), but the navigation in the eBook doesn't match JSD and I can see no obvious way to add assets or define the asset model in JSD.

I need to be able to group assets by different external customers and I need to extend the asset model to include things like MAC addresses, but I don't need records relating to service performed on the assets (except as temporary case files).

Any pro tips are appreciated.
