Get SLA alert for all service-desk users

Abir Stolov April 23, 2020

I'm trying to get a notification if an SLA is soon to be breached
I tried the At-risk SLA alert template of the Automation.
I don't see an option to select a group, only individual users, so I selected them (3)
But the result is a comment with a mention, which is not received by the user that created it and this user (project creator) should be notified as well.

How can this be accomplished?

Hello Abir,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

I believe you can use "Project automation" to send an email to a group when a SLA is about to breach.

As per the details you provided, you are using the Automation directly in the project and not the Project automation (formerly Automation for Jira).

If it's a classic project, go to Project settings > Project automation.

If it's a next-gen, go to Project settings > Apps > Project automation.

On this Automation, you can select:

When: SLA threshold breached

Then: Send email

Hope this helps!

Regards,
Angélica

Thanks, that what I was missing.

The fact that there is 'Automation' and 'Project automation' different items on the project settings is confusing.
