Get Service Desk customers from API

I'm trying to get the Service Desk customers from the API, but it doesn't look like that option is available.

I have tried the API for Service Desk https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/service-desk/rest/ and the one for Jira https://docs.atlassian.com/jira/REST/server/#api/2/

Jira REST API return the internal users but not the external, and the Service Desk API doesn't return anything.

Can someone help me in a direction for getting the Service Desk customers ?

@Eilif Johannsendid you ever find out how to get the list of customers/users? Was not able to figure this out so far.
