Yes, set up the email channel and Nimsoft can send it emails - see https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/receive-requests-from-an-email-address/
If Nimsoft is extensible, you could also have it do it directly, with REST calls to Jira service desk - this is a bit more customisable than email.
Thanks @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- for your response! Having Nimsoft directly email to the JSM Email Request doesn't seem to work. We might have a specific issue with the email configuration. We might need to explore more on Rest call to JSM
