Did you mean:

JSM as a "cash flow framework"?

Hello.

Please excuse me as I am new to JSM, and my question is not... thoughtful. I want to ask if there are strong reasons to call JSM a clear cash flow framework (as one of a few possibilities).

Of course, I understand that additional integrations and apps are involved, but I want to be sure that the statement I quoted can be defended somehow.

Hi @Wojciech Andryszek_Deviniti ,

What do you exactly mean by "cash flow framework" ?

Hi @Wojciech Andryszek_Deviniti ,
Cost Tracker for Jira Cloud is an app that tracks labor costs and direct expenses.

My team developed the app, and, by the way, we use it for our own needs.

You can implement it in your workflows and control financial flows. If you need help, we will happily conduct a demo session.

Here is a use case for calculating the cost of one JSM issue.

Here's a 30-day trial for you.

Hi @Wojciech Andryszek_Deviniti ,

If you want to do calculations (loss, profits etc), then it might be difficult using Jira.
But to follow a process like approval , request status etc. for any finance transaction requests, then JSM is the tool for it.

Jira has at its heart, a workflow engine, and with that, you can model almost any process.

So, yes, you could probably use it to track financial transactions.

Hi @Rilwan Ahmed

I was thinking about tracking or monitoring activities within JSM to identify potential losses and tightening financial flows in a given department.
