So we are looking to move a very large questionaire onto Jira service management but have a few constraits we keep running into when we are looking to so. The constraints are:
We can not think of a way around these contraints and still provide a streamline experience. I was wondering if there is any add-ons that provide some sort of save functionality that could potentially refresh the token or another way people have found a way around similar issues.
Thanks all
Note currently running data centre but looking to move to cloud eventually so if there is some kind of solution that is only offered on one or the other, that would be interesting to hear about also.
Hi @Mitchell Hunter ,
What do you mean with a "15 minute timeout"? Does this mean the user has 15 minutes to enter the form? What happens if it's not done in that timeframe?
Best regards,
Kris
Hi @Kris Dewachter,
That is correct. Once they have clicked the request they want to fill in. This is the last time the session token timeout is reset. the server wont be pinged to reset it again till they hit submit on the request. So they only have 15 minutes to complete all the fields in the request.
Kind regards,
Mitch

H @Mitchell Hunter ,
I know you can change the "session timeout" timing, but that will apply for your whole Jira instance.
Besides that, I don't know if this is very user friendly. The user will have spent all this time filling in a form, submits the form, and will get a session timeout error. Must be very frustrating.
Best regards,
Kris
