How is support for Microsoft O365 Email accounts being provided

As microsoft is removing Basic Authentication support in October will  Office 365 Email accounts tied to our Service Desk still work correctly?

Is Jira implementing changes so that these setups will still work?

This question has already been answered in below thread:

• October 13th, 2020; Jira and Microsoft modern authentication.

However, in short, you can vote and set yourself as a watcher to below 2 feature request so that you will be notified once they will be addressed (or in case of other updates):
