How to Assign Issues to other than administrator user

HI,

We are unable to assign issues to other than administrator user.

How can I resolve this issue

You can see that In project role's setting Akshay has a service desk as well as admin rights.

Hello,

Go to the project settings -> permissions and make sure that there are users in the groups  or the roles defined in the Assignable user permission.

I've given permission to assign the issue to  user "Akshay" but when I was trying to assign issues to Akshay  we are getting an error "User 'Akshay' cannot be assigned issues."

In single user option, u can see "Akshay Thakare" 

@Alexey Matveev I have to fix this issue as early as possible

Is Akshay also an Agent in the project?  Only Agents can be assigned.

Yes Akshay is also an Agent. I think we also need to add "Akshay" to the "jira-servicedesk-user"  group.

If a user is in the Service Desk Team, it does not mean that this user is an Agent. You should go to User Management find this user and have a look if this user has the Service Desk Application access.

Usually you include this user to the jira-service-desk group

currently, in our JIRA sd we have no remaining licence.

is there is anyway so we can assign a ticket to a user who is registered/present in our JIRA sd system but is not an agent or administrator or jira service desk user
