When my customers search for issues they only get results from issues that where change in the last 2 month.
I cannot seem to find any option where I can change that.

Yeah, the standard Requests page in the portal is quite limited. That is why we made an app that makes a new, much better one, you can check it out - Advanced Portal Reports. The customer there can see many more fields if allowed, sort, export to CSV, etc.
