I have a Jira service desk but I am not able to close the tickets created.
The status is always Awaiting approval and I am not able to change the status of the tickets or close the open tickets
Kindly help as soon as possible as it is very urgent!
This is a standard workflow, so assuming that if you have the same, and have not made changes in the status waiting for approval, it requires an approval from a person that is stated in the field Approvers. So try to add yourself to that field, if it works then you know why. There are other workflows that do not require approval if you do not require it.
Look at the workflow for the issue, you probably have a limitation that requires a certain role/person/permission to make the next transition.
