The Jira Service Desk customer portal has a very strange UX.
If I don't have any knowledge base, the screen is mostly empty.
There is an customer profile icon on the top right which has a number badge showing there are old tickets. This is so well hidden in the corner that I initially wondered if the customer portal is all about just submitting tickets and not viewing them later.
Isn't there a way to show a tab or a link prominently on the portal landing page (after login) for the customer to see his old tickets?

OOB JSD does not have this feature yet, however, these are the related feature request:
However, if you have a reverse proxy, perhaps you can do some URL rewrite that once the customer logs in, directly bring them to My request page.
