How to hide internal SD from external SD without adding manually into the project customers

Hello all, 

My team was mostly using Service Desk for internal and we have set up the customers permissions to Anyone with an account on ........

But now we need to have an external Service Desk.

I want to keep the internal Service Desk private and not accessible by the external customers. I know that I can change the customers permissions to Customers my team adds to the project in my internal Service Desk to restrict the access. 

But I really don't want to add manually 500+ users and add them into the project everytime my company has a new employee. 

Is there a way of doing ?

For a project to be restricted the only configuration is the one you mentioned. It will be necessary to change the customer's permission to "Customers my team adds to the project". That's the only configuration that will make the project private. 

When a project is open, as the configuration mentions, anyone will be able to access and create tickets, it means that if a user is added to a Jira Software project, they will be able to access the customer portal or if a customer is added to other Service Desk project, they will be added to see the project they were added and any other that is open.

In this case, the best option would be to make a list with all addresses separated with comma, so you can paste on "Add customers" and add everyone at once. 

Regarding new employees, it ill be necessary to add them manually as well.
