How to show Epics in the kanban board

they only appear in the timeline. how do I show them in the backlog and the board?

Hi @Nicolás Straub and welcome to the Community!

If you have a kanban board with the kanban backlog enabled (i.e. you have a status mapped to the kanban backlog in board settings > lay-out > columns), then you can choose if you want your epics to be displayed either as cards on the board (which seems to be the option you are looking for) or in the epic panel in the backlog. If the latter option is selected, then your epics will not appear as cards anymore.

I'm not sure how to check the columns, I'm attaching a picture, hope I'm in the right place

I do have a backlog and I've figured out to show epics in a side panel on the backlog, but not on the board itself. Could you explain how to show these epics as cards on the board? I can't seem to find the option anywhere and am pretty lost tbh...

Hmmm ... I'm afraid I am going to have to disappoint you on this one, @Nicolás Straub. From your screenshot, I get that you have set up a team managed project. Unfortunately, epics are always displayed as a filter to your board and can't be displayed as cards on the board.

To apply the solution I described earlier, you would need to set up a company managed project instead.

how can I do that? Is it available on the free tier? I don't mind remaking the project if necessary...
