I'd like to show a custom field called FIELD A. An other custom field called FIELD B should be hidden. If the customer used the FIELD A, then should appear also the FIELD B.
FIELD A = "Select List (cascading)"
FIELD B = "Select List (cascading)"
What do I need to do?
Hello Aleksandar,
Currently, it's not possible to hide/show fields based on other fields. We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
Please, click on vote and watch in order to hear about updates on the development cycle.
Regards,
Angélica
Thank you Angelica for your input.
Please don't misunderstand me, but I think that's not true.
2 years ago, I worked the first time with the Jira Service Desk and it was possible, but I didn't implement it. Now I need it and I forgot, how to reproduce it.
Best regards
Aleksandar

It's possible to achieve this using an add-on as scriptrunner for example. With the functionalities Jira already has, there is no configuration that makes fields get hidden and only appears if another option is selected.
We found a thread in community that may help you achieve this:
