Installed jira latest version with MS Sql 2012 DB connection was success jira running db collation

Hello ,

 

We have Installed latest Jira version and connected to MS SQL 2012 database Jira is up and running but not able to create project . We have checked in Instant health check up it is showing database collation error . Can any one help me to steps to resolve this error .

Hi Mahesh, 

As per the Atlassian, the supported collation types are,  SQL_Latin1_General_CP437_CI_AI and Latin1_General_CI_AI for MS SQL database.

We are tried to change but it is not changing at this moment , shall we need to create another DB and connect ?

yes  @Mahesh Kallepalli ,  you can try that approach to create a new DB with correct collation type.
