We linked our Jira Service Desk to Confluence to provide knowledge base articles.
Currently, we are ok with the two available templates, "How-to" and "Troubleshooting" templates. However, we are wondering if it is possible to pass additional values to the article. Currently, the feature only allow summary and description to be passed to confluence. But we need to pass additional values like labels and value of a customfield. So that articles and be organized or grouped together.
Why we need this?
Our Jira service desk for Issue management and is used by multiple teams. We would like to have these teams to be able to common page in Confluence that they can see all the articles created by their team.
As much as possible we want that when they login to Confluence, they are presented with the relevant articles to them instead of searching through again and again.
Our goal is to make the system present relevant information without them having to have basic knowledge on how to search through confluence or create a page with macros.
