Is there a Jira service or license needed for connecting AD to Jira Service Desk

I would like to AD connect to Jira to populate users in Jira Service Desk is there a service or license to AD Connect to Jira to populate the user table.

Hello,

There is no license for connecting to AD. But if you want your users to be service desk agents, then the users will need a Service desk license
