JSD main task & sub-task

Hi again!

I have found so many great solutions from this community, so I would like to ask if there is one more solution for our concern.

I would like to know if there is possibility that when sub-task is created under main task, the sub task automatically displays the information what is already written in main task fields? 

For example problem location field, problem type field etc, so the idea is that the user who is creating sub task does not need to copy and paste all the information to sub task from main task but this information will be automatically added by the system?

I hope You did understand my thought process :)

Hi Kaur, glad to see the Community is working for you. There are a number of threads discussing sub-tasks inheriting from parents. You might want to perform a search "inherit from parent" and see what comes up that might be different/better than my response below. :-)

you can edit the workflow and add a post function(s) as follows:

Copy Value From Other Field - Copies the value of one field to another, either within the same issue or from parent to sub-task

Now this is in Cloud and it may even be associated w/ one of the addons that come w/ Cloud. Check Server for same.
