We have Jira 8.0.0, Service Desk 4.0.0 and plugin "Email this Issue"
At an unspecified moment, Jira stops picking up emails from mailboxes connected in projects Service Desk.

The only thing that helps is rebooting Jira, but this is bad practice at the height of the working day.
