I have setup a service desk in Jira service desk server , but somehow the customers that log in on the portal are not able to see all the request. they can only see the requests that were made by themselves. the customers are linked to the service desk in a servicedesk cutsomer role. According to the documentation it should be posssible. What am I missing here?

you need to organize your customers in "Organizations". Then you will be able to share the request with the whole organization https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/blog/2016/09/group-customers-in-organizations

I created an organization for the project, but anyone inside the organization is still unable to view all issues inside that project. Obviously I am missing a setting, but trying to find out which setting that may be.
to test I have only 3 users in the org inside the project, but if one of the 3 makes an issue, the other 2 cannot see it.
