Logout portal-only users with SSO

We have recently configured SSO for JSM portal users, using following link:

 Configure SAML single sign-on for portal-only customers | Atlassian Support

This is working but when I try to logout, I'm logged out only from JSM and I can't see in IDP that JSM sent any LOGOUT information.

Is this by design?

In our case we use SSO to Entra. So we can use the Plugin "Microsoft Azure Active Directory single sign-on for JIRA". The logout works good.

But then we have an other issue: The jira session cookie has an expiration "Session". Mean after clothing the Browser we must relogin.

So I am very interested in the Atlassian SSO Plugin! But without correct logout at jira AND IdP we cannot use it. Anybody an idea (or a very very dirty hack ;-)).

I believe so. I don't think logging out of any IdP-connected Application ever logged me out everywhere. I rarely log out at all though so maybe I simply never noticed.

Might have something to do with the IdP Settings though? What are you using there?
