Hello,
This is JIRA v8.3.1 with JIRA Service Desk Application v4.3.1
I am working in a language translation, so I went to atlassian repository and downloaded the servicedesk language pack in order to collect every keys I need.
In the customer portal, there are some keys in the Profile tab I don't find anywhere (other languages are also missing) attach evidences. Do you know where to get these strings? inspecting elements doesn't gives any clue either
Hi Javier,
Sorry to hear about this problem. I understand that you are using Jira Service Desk 4.3.1 and it is clear that these user profile elements are not being translated into Spanish here.
I believe this was a bug that we have already fixed in later versions. While I have not found an existing bug report that exactly matches your description, I found a few that are close, such as JSDSERVER-5382.
I tried to recreate this problem in my own Jira 8.7.1 / Jira Service Desk 4.7.1. When I changed the system language into Spanish, it correctly translated those three elements like so.
In turn, it might not be possible to translate those specific elements in your version. I tried to extract my own Jira core language pack for Spanish (es) however even within this section I was not able to find an object key that contained these exact strings. Which makes me believe that these elements are being translated in another manner outside the ability for us to customize it.
So while I believe an upgrade will fix this, I'm not sure there are any other work-arounds that will help here until then.
I hope this helps.
Andy
