Navigate confluence base on the customer portal

Addactis Support&Operations February 22, 2019

Hello,

I'm still testing Service Desk and Confluence in the cloud.

For my tests, I have created a Service desk project that I have linked it to a confluence base.

When connecting to customer portal and creating a new request, there is an automatic search in the confluence base. This is fine.

However, I'd like to be able to navigate my confluence base from the portal without submitting a request. This can be helpfull if I add some documents in that Confluence space.

Have searched this capability on google, on the community without any success. You help is really appreciated

Hi @Addactis Support&Operations , a Customer visiting th portal can certainly find and view KB articles without creating an issue. That is one of the benefits and desirable use cases. Note, you mention being able to navigate Confluence. To be clear the Customer will not have direct application access to Confluence but can view any KB articles that are provided from within the portal.

Thanks for your reply.

I do agree on the benefits but I'm currenly not able to configure Service Desk/Confluence/the Portal to have this feature available.

And of course, the customer will not access Confluence but the KB articles.
