Our organization is looking to find a solution to one of our change procedures. We require our Change Advisory Board to provide a classification during a specific stage of our change workflow where they must approve and comment the classification.
Since JIRA is limited in that we cannot add screens to approval transitions nor can we make certain fields available on the portal for them to edit prior to approving, we are at a bit of an impasse when it comes to fulfilling this requirement as our agents often have to chase down these approvers to backfill the classification, delaying our change process.
Are there any add-ons or methods we could leverage to satisfy this requirement? I have already tried Actions for Service Desk but Deviniti had responded stating they currently do not have the functionality in their product to be able to place screens on Approval transitions.
When you say you can't add screens to an approval transition, do you mean you do not get the option?
I get the option to add a screen on an approval transition
I can add the screen but it does not show up on the portal. Any approve/decline action on the portal just executes without any stops due to the way the portal seems to handle this.
