Prevent additional comment when adding attachment to issue

JIRA Service Desk 4.3.0 REST API

I am uploading temporary attachments 

servicedeskapi/servicedesk/{serviceDeskId}/attachTemporaryFile

then adding them to Jira Service Desk issue (customer request).

servicedeskapi/request/{issueIdOrKey}/attachment

I have tried omitting the  additionalComment field and setting it to null.

Is there a way to prevent additional comment to be added?
Also is there a way to take the attachments of an issue?
