Problem with connection email

Hello! Can you please help us with connections our corporate email on yandex.ru with service desk. We can the same configurate server with Jira software but it's havnt that problem. Log fileimage (1).png

Hi Boris,

Your logs state the following:

An error has occurred with sending the test email:

com.atlassian.mail.MailException: com.sun.mail.util.MailConnectException: Couldn't connect to host, port: smtp.yandex.ru, 465; timeout 10000;

  nested exception is:

java.net.SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out

Caused by: com.sun.mail.util.MailConnectException: Couldn't connect to host, port: smtp.yandex.ru, 465; timeout 10000;

  nested exception is:

java.net.SocketTimeoutException: connect timed out

It seems that the Jira server is not able to connect to your mail server, at least not on that port.

Are you able to telnet to that port from the Jira server? You may want to try speaking to your mail server admin to see why it might not be possible for your Jira server to connect to your mail server.
