You actually don't need any add-on since JSD 3.7: Canned responses for comments. If you're using an earlier version, I'd recommend Canned Responses Pro for Jira - I've used it several times and it always worked well.

Canned responses provided by JSD are connected to a JSD project, but Canned responses provided by the app can be per project, global or personal.
Might also be worth to note that there are more variables available with the app than with plain JSD (see the list here)
