Can't create a copy of a workflow

Dear Community!

I can't create a copy of the workflow from JSM project, any ideas?))

I changed the name, left it, it doesn’t help.

There are statuses in the workflow without transitions, but this has never prevented the creation of copies before.

Thanks in advance!

@Petr AST -

Very odd.  Here is a possible workaround -

  1. Identify your source WF. Instead of clicking "copy," option, please click "edit."
  2. Don't making any changes to the WF and click the "Publish draft" button.
  3. In the confirmation pop-up window, click "Yes" for "save a backup copy." Fill out your desired "workflow name".
  4. You can then access the backup copy of the WF under the "Inactive" tab, and conduct your modifications.

I would also recommend you to contact Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com) to report the issue and further assistance.

Hope this helps.

Hi @Petr AST

I hope you are doing well!!

The error say that status must have incoming transition. Please check entire workflow and add incoming transition to a status.

Hi @Mayur Jadhav

Hope you are all well too!

No, it doesn't matter. I checked it on test ones, and I’ve never had problems copying a workflow before.

If there is a workflow, why would I need to make changes to it to copy)))
