Hi, we want to save our Confluence's attachments in an external NFS unit. We want to know if we can do as we do in Jira where we can create a symbolic link to the data folder using the NFS unit.
Thanks for your help.
You can do this of course.
The only drawback it's possible performance issues if you have high-load server. If no then you won't have any issues.
Create mount point (directory) on your confluence server.
Mount nfs share to this mount point.
Stop Confluence.
Copy or move Attachments folder by preserving permissions to mount point.
Start Confluence and configure new path in General configuration - Attachment storage.
Hi @renzo_arenaza ,
The same was discussed in the below links. Please review the solutions/answers provided in the referred links.
Thanks,

Hi, thanks for your answer. I've read the answers and just one is related (Does anybody use a NFS to host Confluence Attachments) but all the answers to this question are from 2013.
What I mean with my question is that I don't want to install my confluence over a NFS unit. I just want to mount a NFS unit to storage the attachments and create a symbolic link between the attachment directory and the mounted NFS unit.
Is this possible as it is in Jira?
Thanks for your help.
