Hi,
Our organisation use Synexsys for ticketing, we plan to switch to JIRA Service Desk.
I was able to set up JSD for our needs, but there is some functions/options that i don't found in JSD.
My superiors want to keep and use some options witch Synexsys have built in, one of those is the welcome message -> when a user access the service desk page, it sees Welcome User Name! (view screenshot) also when he browse the menus, his user name is visible on every page (view screenshot).
The question is: there it is possible to add something similar on the JSD Customer Portal?
I have searched a lot on the Atlassian Answers and over internet but nothing pop up...
Thank you in advance.

I found that Welcome $username returns John.Doe if that helps
Could you please share the steps to set Welcome $username in Jira .
