I have installed JIRA Service Desk 4.2.5 (server, not cloud). There are supposed to be templates available for HR, Facilities and Legal. They are not appearing as an option when a Basic project is created. How can these be enabled?
Hi Jill,
Thanks so much for your question.
You may have seen this community blog post announcing the new business templates for HR, facilities and legal teams. These templates are currently only available in Jira Service Desk Cloud. The good news is that we are looking into these templates for our Server and Data Center customers, however I’m unable to provide a definitive timeline for when this might become available.
You can read more about the templates currently available in Server and Data Center here: Jira Service Desk Project Templates.
Thank you,
Charlie

Hi Jill.
We've compiled some useful information for HR teams using Atlassian tools including Jira. check out our HR teams page or the recording of our HR webinar with our own Atlassian People team experts.
Also, in our Practical Guide for HR and People Teams, you'll find some specific guidance to templates that are perfect for several tasks such as onboarding, employee engagement, reviews, and more. You'll find ways to use Jira, Confluence, and Trello to help HR teams streamline their operations.
We'll be launching more team-specific information over the coming year.
I hope that's helpful.
