JIRA SD Require parallel team approvals prior to moving to Awaiting CAB approval for change requests

As part of the workflow I want to have parallel approvals from 4 teams before a change can go forward for CAB approval. Each of the potential 4 teams have their own list of authorised approvers.

The ideal would be that a single name from each of the 4 teams is selected and that only when all 4 have indicated approval then the status will transition to awaiting CAB approval.

Multiple approval requirements are controlled in the Statuses Approval configurations, and you can require that either all the approvers listed must approve or set a number of approvers like this:

Next to add the list of users to the approvers field you can do so via a "Update Issue Custom Field" post function on the transition leading into the approval step, and adding in a comma separated list of the 4 desired users for the approval process.

Hi Earl, that is what we have ended up having to implement with hardcoding of approver names with pre-population based on criteria.  We had hoped to be able to have list based groups covering 4 or more teams requiring one one approved from each group required in the approval. What we have done works but isn't ideal as now we have to maintain it. And we don't have clarity re what person approved or which group.
