Hi,
in our customer portal we have a field System which is a drop down list that I need to edit.
In this case is not a custom field, when I search for it, it says the field does not exists. I have checked on the screen configuration for the specific project and I cannot see it but when I check the specific type in the customer portal (requests type -->edit fields) I see the field.
Apologies cause this question is already asked but I cannot remember what did I do.
Thank you
Paula
Hi @PaulaA ,
You're able to change the display name of fields in the SD Customer Portal. If you go to Request Types > Edit Fields and then click on 'System' it should tell you the field's real name directly below.
Thank you. Yes, it says, Component/s. The same problem, I cannot find the field in the custom fields menu to edit the values...
Cheers, Paula

Components are a special field- you can access them through Project Settings > Components. Per project, you can define components, choose a lead and default assignee. (More info: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/organizing-work-with-components-939938952.html)

Thank you, I have not thought about the components...
