I am looking for an option in Jira change management to keep a track of all changes made during upgrade , ie I  want to upgrade a product from Version 1.0 to 1.1 and then 1.2 . Here, I need to have details of changes made in each steps such as patches applied , configuration changes made etc. So later , team  can get  history of changes in each upgrade steps .  It would be helpful if someone can suggest best solution / option in Jira (like calendar ) .

We use a combination of Jira tickets and a linked Confluence Space to do this. The tickets are where the technical jargon is stored and Confluence is where we document the changes and any useful information pertaining to them (Ex: Roadmaps, Prerequisites, dependencies, environments/servers, etc)

There are a plethora of different solutions for this, Ive come across a multitude of blogs and tutorials for it...just boils down to what your preferences and reporting/tracking needs are

Hi @Binoy Thomas

To keep a track of changes in each issue view you can try the build-in "History" tab. So you will need to come to each ticket and check the information you need manually.

But if you want to get this data automatically and in one place with the list of issues you need -  try an app like Issue History. Also, this tool lets you export data for more detailed analysis.

Best Regards
