How to restrict the same issue type by groups

Good morning all!

I have this situation.

My users are  asking me that for one issue type to restrict its view if they are are in a specific group.

We have two groups L1 and L2, the issues are created for issue type, let's say "Bug". But they want that if the issue type have the group L1, only L1 to see those issues and if they have group L2 to see those issues.

I thought that with security levels I could manage it, but it seems that I can`t.

How can I manage this?

Thanks in advance,

Ro

Hi @Rosana Casilli ,

Jira does not provide permission configuration per issue type. The only way is to create separate projects for the 2 user groups and apply the permission per project.
