Jira service desk, how to set priority using api

Hello,

As per api documentation of jira service desk, i could not find support for priority update.

Can you please let me know any undocumented support for the same.

Hi Aman, 

 

The Jira REST API applies for Jira Service Desk too, the Service Desk APIs are only specific to some functionality. 

 

You'll be able to update the priority using the Jira API - Issue (Edit Issue) instead: https://docs.atlassian.com/software/jira/docs/api/REST/7.12.0/?_ga=2.9307952.406638575.1540395484-1618494702.1531348632#api/2/issue-editIssue

Hi,

but you need to have the rights to do that and that means an agent license, which you usually do not want give to a customer.
