Hello,
We are evaluating to use jira as a central Service-Management-Tool and wondering, whether there is a mobile app for jira service desk.
to give some background, due to our data security policies, we are forced to use a self hosted server appliance.
Unfortunatelly, we are not totally aware of the differences between jira software, jira core and jira service desk.
Can anybody clarify?
Hi,
Try out Mobility for Jira Portal. You not only get the leading Jira Service Desk Portal app but also a great Jira Server/Cloud app for agents including queues/approval functionality. With the Portal app your clients can raise requests exactly as they do on the Service Desk Portal. They will also receive push notifications when issues are updated.
Mobility for Jira Portal - Apple App Store
Mobility for Jira Portal - Google Play Store
Mobility for Jira - Atlassian Marketplace
We hope this helps.

Hello MobilityStream,
thanks for answering.
I tried around a little bit and came to the conclusion, that we'll need to buy a license to use this feature permanent.
Due to pricing information we need to dimension our users.
What user's are meant?
We are only a team of 3 agents, so i guess the smallest should be sufficient?
Or do we need to license all users, including the customers?
And how to manage access permissions?
Regards
Ralf

Hi Ralf,
Generally the add-on is licensed by Jira user tier. Customers do not need to be licensed.
There are variety of options. We are happy to discuss. Please send an email to support@mobilitystream.com
Permissions are managed via Jira.

Hey Kris G,
Thanks for answering.
the Jira Service Desk Cloud App is no Opportunity for us, according to the fact it can only be connected to a Cloud Instance.
but thanks for the comparison Links.
