Okta, Service Desk and User setup

We are using Okta to authenticate to Service Desk and assigning the user the app in Okta is setting up the User in Service Desk, but not completely. If the user goes to the Service Desk web portal they are still prompted to log in and if they launch Service Desk from Okta they have to go through a few user setup screens (language and avatar) before they can get to the portal. Is there a way to skip these setup screens so the user can access the Service Desk portal from the URL without launching from the Okta dashboard?

Okta support had me disable user onboarding, which resolved this issue.
